long bio:

destroy the idols formed in 2021 under the name “if all else fails”, the band Consists of vocalist/guitarist - Will third, lead guitarist - daniel gould, bass - andy mcbane and drummer - pete Harrison.

the band spent its first 18 months writing music and establishing themselves in the local scene. playing high energy punk rock inspired by NOFX, cigar and bad religion, to name few.

during the summer of 2023 the band entered unit one studios in colchester and recorded their first material ahead of their original guitarist stu gunn’s departure from the country and band back to australia. they named this ep in dedication to stu’s contribution and songwriting on the ep.

quickly finding a replacement with dan joining roster, equipped with a new name they become “destroy the idols”. the band doubled down on their activities, playing more shows than ever in 2024, Introducing merch and new material it Wasn't long before they returned to the studio, this time with black cactus studios just outside of colchester. this saw the release of their next ep “if you have to ask, You're not listening” featuring the singles, rifle, consequence and clocking out.

moving into 2025 the band has continued to play shows and grow their following, the latter half of the year the band has got stuck into writing, this time a full length album. with new music on the horizon, playing some exciting shows, its safe to say the band is Optimistic about 2026 and cant wait to show you what They're working on.
